The Role
The internship was very insightful and well organised. The staff worked hard to sure I was kept busy and got to see a range of work.
In my first rotation I felt very valued as it was a small team. In my second rotation, less so, but it was a larger team with less contact with each individual.
Everyone was very good at providing answers to questions. We had a solid support team made up of manager, supervisor, buddy.
I was either very very busy or had nothing at all.
A reasonable amount to feel useful, but everything was checked through afterwards.
I learnt some valuable skills throughout the process.
The Company
Everyone is very hard working at EY so the office is very focused.
Very well organised.
A fair amount, we benefited from VAT training and catch ups before each piece of work. However, I feel a lot of information was skimmed over and not consolidated.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Very appealing. It is a very good company to work for. The people are lovely and it is very inviting. It just depends whether the work is suited for you.
The Culture
Reasonably amongst the graduates in my team. Certain social events were organised within each team. There was opportunity to get involved as much or as little as you wanted. However, there lacked organisation for social events for the interns which would have allowed us to get to know each other better.
Very expensive - London. If you live in university halls - roughly £2000 or the 6 weeks. I rented from a friend and payed £150 a week.
Great - lots happening in London and plenty to choose from.
Yes although I didn't explore them
