The Role
Enjoyed it when I was busy, but a lot of the time there was not that much to do.
I was given challenging work, although this was different to a lot of the other interns.
They helped me if I required it, although perhaps gave me less than necessary in the last two weeks, and more than necessary early on.
Depended on the day, but normally sufficiently busy.
Similar responsibility to a grad.
Good training for excel and project management.
The Company
The office was friendly relaxed and welcoming. Was introduced to everyone on the first day and was taken out for lunch.
Recruitment was very disorganised, but the internship worked reasonably well, but this would be dependent on the team.
Very little personal training except some informal guidance with software like excel.
Financial Bonus
Quite appealing as the work life balance is really good, however I am unsure whether I am interested in the profession.
The Culture
The interns were all friendly but it was difficult to meet them initially as there were not many socials.
Very expensive as it was in central London, but the socialising can be done to reasonably low budget.
Good - lots of variety for people of all ages.
Yes - lots of clubs/societies within the firm, although few people get involved.
