The Role
Very very very enjoyable, would definitely recommend. Everybody I worked with was lovely, and all the other interns were lovely too. There was also lots planned for us so we really got to know everyone very well.
I was never left doing mundane jobs that a monkey could complete. Everything was explained clearly to me (which meant I learnt a lot) and in turn the work I was able to complete of the internship became more in depth as the programme went on.
If I had any questions, I never felt unable to ask, every one was lovely and very helpful. I was never made to feel like a question was stupid.
I always had something to do. I never felt stressed and like I had too much work either - just the right amount.
I was given a good level of responsibility, I was given tasks which were new to me and of course someone always looked over the work I had done, which I was grateful for as they could always point out any mistakes or areas of improvement and I could learn from them.
The skills I gained will definitely help me when I start my graduate role. I feel like I have a head start as I already have an idea of how the company works and what a role within my department is like.
The Company
Very friendly, everybody got on with their task at hand but we often went out for lunch or socialised after work. It was a very friendly atmosphere.
Very well organised, all the things that were planned for us were really really good fun and also great learning experiences. We always had something to look forward to. I am sure the people who organised it all worked very hard, but their hard work paid of as it really was an excellent internship.
We were all taken on a presentation workshop which was held in the company's country manor, I learnt things from this day that will always help me, including in my final year at university. I really didn't expect something like this and was very impressed. Was a great experience.

Company Parties/Events
I was extremely grateful to be offered a graduate role within the departments that I worked in and look forward to joining next September.
The Culture
All the interns and all colleagues were very sociable and welcoming, got along well with everyone and had some great times.
I already live locally so the cost didn't really affect me too much.
There were lots of things going on outside work for us to get involved in. Every week there was at least 1 thing going on outside work which we were invited to do.
