  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great friendly environment but depending on where you are assigned, workload are really different and sometime may have no work to do.

  • They are all very encouraging, but just sometimes are too busy to give you work.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • There are weekly catch-up sessions and was supportive in terms of guiding me through what I wanted to get out of the internship.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had an exciting project that I worked on for about 5 weeks. After that, I just had to keep on asking for work every couple of hours.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was mostly doing work that added value to the team, but no work that I would have been particularly accountable for. I did handle important documents.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I gained more knowledge about the industry and how corporations work as a whole, more than skills themselves. But I have also gained some transferrable skills.

  • Very friendly atmosphere.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The insight sessions that were set up for the interns were very useful in terms of getting to know the rest of the company. In terms of the work load, it would have been nicer for us to have a more structured scheme.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Everyone is very happy to talk to you and explain things to you - you just have to ask. They will not approach you with things.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • It's a great company with a fantastic corporate culture. If they offer the type of job you are interested in, it is an extremely appealing company.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were lots of social events with the other interns, allowing us to talk and integrate.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It is the middle of London so it is not cheap.
