The Role
Great friendly environment but depending on where you are assigned, workload are really different and sometime may have no work to do.
They are all very encouraging, but just sometimes are too busy to give you work.
There are weekly catch-up sessions and was supportive in terms of guiding me through what I wanted to get out of the internship.
I had an exciting project that I worked on for about 5 weeks. After that, I just had to keep on asking for work every couple of hours.
I was mostly doing work that added value to the team, but no work that I would have been particularly accountable for. I did handle important documents.
I gained more knowledge about the industry and how corporations work as a whole, more than skills themselves. But I have also gained some transferrable skills.
The Company
Very friendly atmosphere.
The insight sessions that were set up for the interns were very useful in terms of getting to know the rest of the company. In terms of the work load, it would have been nicer for us to have a more structured scheme.
Everyone is very happy to talk to you and explain things to you - you just have to ask. They will not approach you with things.
Company Parties/Events
It's a great company with a fantastic corporate culture. If they offer the type of job you are interested in, it is an extremely appealing company.
The Culture
There were lots of social events with the other interns, allowing us to talk and integrate.
It is the middle of London so it is not cheap.
