The Role
Most days were busy and interesting, but several days dragged when there was very little for me to do.
Most colleagues gave me work which they trusted but one colleague spoke down to me and I didn't like working with them.
Supervisors always tried to make sure I was busy and understood what I was doing.
Most days I was really busy but just some days I was bored.
I was trusted to do final changes before submissions which made me feel valued
Not much of what I've done has been relevant to studies
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and atmosphere was perfect
At times the work was very random but most of the time I was working through things that seemed organised
There was online learning for me to complete which taught me more about the business side of engineering.
Sports and Social Club
All the graduates I worked with seemed to really enjoy working at ARUP
The Culture
There was football organised weekly which suited me perfectly and great way to socialise
Football was partly paid for by ARUP when we played against other office but when we played within ourselves we had to pay but wasn't expensive
I live in Glasgow throughout the year so was just the same as always
Football and golf was both organised
