The Role
Etc Venues in Tower Hill was a very comfortable place to undertake the placement. The 7City and ROI tutors provided enough interactive material to keep us occupied.
Information on our rotation was delayed and we are still yet to know which of the two rotations we are due to start first. Our supervisors were easy to get hold of though.
Looking back on the placement I think that we did not have nearly enough work to do to keep us occupied.
The training we undertook is to help us in our work roles. I am still completely in the dark as to what my work role will be, so I cannot say whether the training will be beneficial to me or not.
The Company
I was not in an office - I was in training
It was well organised by ROI Training
ROI Training and 7City were very good and so I felt that RBS invested heavily in contracting the training to them
Subsidised Canteen
I was in training and am already employed by RBS
The Culture
Everyone knows each other and meet regularly in the local drinking establishment.
We are in London, so the cost is expensive
We are in London
A few people organised social activities. Nothing was organised by RBS.
