The Role
Enjoyed full time work, took a while to get into due to being passed through different departments. Perhaps a little too numerical no creative input.
Last Manager took a while to see me as anything other than just a placement student.
Helpful but at first had no faith in my abilities.
some dys very busy some days quiet, ner over rushed.
Always checked over by my Merchandiser
The whole experience of working full time, of how to act in the working environment, how to act around collegues etc invaluable!
The Company
typical Buying & Merch hard working
Good, but they taxed out bonus which they initially said would not be and they messed up the contract dates but this was not a problem for me.
Brilliant training.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Last choice, want a job with better pay and more benefits in a more creative field.
The Culture
I didn'd partake in Debenhams placement events really, although had mates of my own who were also working there as well as around London.
Typiucally London - expensive - but we found ways of doing things on the cheap and loved every minute of it!
Around Oxford road - terrible, but Soho was just a walk away.
