The Role
I loved the work! It was actual on the job training and I got to experience a true reflection of the life of an actual audit associate!
I felt like I was part of the team and that my work contributed.
Everybody was very friendly and gave me lots of advice and help on the job which was brilliant!
Some days I would be more busy than others, but most of the time I had a lot to do. If you ask for the work, they'll give it you.
A good amount for my level I feel. I was responsible for my own audit tests and gathering and compiling data onto the relevant spreadsheets. I also interested personally with clients in a genuine environment which was perhaps the best thing about the internship!
It gives me a head start on the graduates joining next year as I know how the job works people at the office! Workshops, such as ones on presenting, that I did whilst at GT were extremely helpful and I feel this will benefit me in the future.
The Company
Really welcoming, relaxed and understanding that because I was a newcomer I'd need help on the various technicalities.
Very well. I was put on jobs, attended workshops and even went on work socials!
I feel significantly. Again I was taken on away jobs and put up in hotels, attended conferences, workshops etc.
Well since I was offered and accepted a job, Very!
The Culture
Yes! Socials were great! We went to Headingley to watch Yorkshire v Durham in T20 cricket which I loved!
I commuted but property in Leeds is very reasonable!
Amazing!
Yes, the office has various sports teams!
