The Role
Started slowly but as I settled in and got busier the work became much more interesting, challenging and enjoyable.
Felt utilised and appreciated by staff. Given plenty of live 'real' work.
Line manager regularly kept correspondence with me both formally and casually at the desk to ensure everything was as it should be.
Varied greatly. Mostly busy.
More than expected.
Invaluable lessons about working in a banking environment, and the skills obtained in restructuring should serve me well in other areas too.
The Company
Very friendly, easy to settle in, no one taken too seriously.
Could be better, however at times the lack of rigidity was a positive thing, given the small in take of my business area.
Too soon to tell. More appropriate question for graduates.
Subsidised Canteen
Received an offer.
The Culture
Most interns were friendly and sociable.
Much cheaper than expected, given Spitalfields market.
In the city. Plenty of options.
Charity events, networking events with other firms/ clients.
