The Role
Great opportunity to try an area I never thought I would - learnt a lot;
Huge responsibility given to me - probably my favourite thing about the internship
Line Managers are sometimes too busy to help you/sit down with you and provide you feedback on your work
Depending on the days but fairly busy (no crazy hours though, 8:30-17:30 most of the days)
I had loads - each person in my team is responsible for different projects and I was responsible for one of them, which will be implemented in the near future
I was put in a different area from the one I study/want to work in
The Company
Pretty amazing, to be honest. Everyone is great, super nice and willing to help you regardless if you met them before or not
Some flaws, but overall was well organised (this one depends from team to team I believe)
Could have invested more but my area in particular did not require it
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Travel loan
Graduate program sounds really exciting (although in this I have to admit there is some lack of organisation and different ideas coming from different people within the Graduate team)
The Culture
Yes - everyone gets along really well!
It's London, so it's pretty expensive!
Good! Loads of different things one can do!
Did not look for these that much as it was a small period but I am sure there are many!
