    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A good mix of hands-on experience in practice areas and more theoretical learning opportunities; good exposure to friendly, unpretentious and very helpful lawyers; and plenty of opportunities to get to know and make friends with others on the scheme. The vacation scheme also provided a good opportunity to learn about the business side of running a law firm, in addition to the work one will be doing as a Trainee lawyer.

    • Graduate Recruitment was friendly and accommodating throughout, and the lawyers took the time necessary to walk interns through the broader context of the work they were doing. Good work seemed genuinely appreciated, and feedback was constructive and direct throughout the scheme

    • All training sessions were well thought through and comprehensive. The firm also made sure everyone on the scheme got an opportunity to talk to current trainees under fairly informal circumstances. This was very useful for attempting to grok the soft side of what it’s like to work at the firm.
