The Role
A great experience to see how a large international bank works.
Everyone was very kind towards me and treated me very well.
Whenever I asked for help I got it.
Not busy enough. Several days could have had more tasks.
Very little responsibility but that is to be expected as you are an intern.
Certain soft skill will be useful but other will not be.
The Company
Colleagues were fun to be around and made the days enjoyable.
Pretty well organised but a few hiccups in terms of emails sent out.
Had lots of opportunities to develop in both online and in person training.
Travel loan
Very appealing firm but unsure if I will remain in the line of business that I did my internship in.
The Culture
Personally did not get a lot of opportunities to socialise due to being in a workplace without other interns. However, offices with multiple interns regularly socialise together.
Was able to live at home so very cheap.
Based near Brighton which has good nightlife.
So many opportunities. Constant emails being sent out about potential out of office activities and societies.
