The Role
A lot. Very nice environment, loved the work, people were very friendly, helpful. Super convenient, i.e. cantine, restaurant, coffeeshops,... Building is clean, staff is welcoming and open. Facilities are in place and working.
Very much. Colleagues are friendly, smart, outgoing, in and outside the office. Perfect balance between work and fun.
Support was given by recruitment team, mentor, development officer, buddy and of course by colleagues and peers.
Very busy but as I love the work, this is rather a good thing than a bad thing. Days go by super quickly as the tasks I got were interesting.
Quite some, you have to earn and deserve it of course. Had sit downs with directors and seniors which is a unique and very insightful experience.
Very much. Learned an immense amount of skills, technical but also on a personal level.
The Company
Perfect balance between fun and focus. But thanks to the colleagues and the diversity of the tasks, work is very diverse and doesn't feel dull. Work hard, play harder.
Very good. Staffer was appointed to assist in allocation of work as well as to take into account our interests. Very good aspect of the internship is that you get the chance to work with different teams/industries, which allows you to get a super clear and good experience.
A lot. Several learning sessions, access to valuable databases and systems, access to immense amount of info and documents where you can dig in to. Accounting and excel training in the beginning of the internship. And of course, you learn most of all along the way.

Focus on work-life balance at BofAML has increased immensely. For me this is one of the or even the only investment bank I would consider to work for. The atmosphere and people are great. The chances and learning curve you get over here are unthinkable somewhere else.
The Culture
We went out a lot, events and trainings were organized for us as well as dinner and drinks. Talent Team does an amazing job!
Very fair prices in canteen and coffee area. Diner was part of the work benefits. Food and drinks are of good quality and have sufficient variety.
Paternoster Square is the place to be. I abso-lu-te-ly loved it to be located at the St Pauls office rather than Canary Warf or somewhere else.
Definitely. We were supported to take part in the JP Morgan Run in the beginning of July as well as other sports activities or women events in my case.
