The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed working at Barclays, very very smart and motivated people. I learnt a lot!
I felt much appreciated by others. People offered to help me and had time to meet me in a friendly environment.
Support was good but could be better, but given that my manager were quite busy, I'm pretty satisfied with the treatment I got.
I was never bored and had always a job to do.
I didn't get too much responsibility, I mostly learned about the everyday jobs.
I got very specialized skills that I plan to utilize in my life (financial analysis, trading etc.)
The Company
Very cheerful, people worked hard, but nonetheless had time to explain me things that I did not know.
It was organized brilliantly, a lot of networking events and senior speaker sessions.
I got everything I asked for, Bloomberg, new keyboard, company paid for my plane tickets, I got a relocation bonus...
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I think I made a good impression and I hope I'll get an offer.
The Culture
Interns often had drinks after work, they went on lunches together, home parties etc...
It was very expensive, but that's London and you get paid well.
I'm not to keen on nightlife so I did not go out.
There were couple of activities such as Citizenship Innovation Project
