The Role
Started off being somewhat boring, but became more enjoyable as the projects developed and I was given more responsibility.
I felt valued by some colleagues who were helped by my project work.
I wasn't given much time from managers/supervisors. They seemed too busy.
I was only busy for the odd day. Generally I was looking for new work.
With not much support, my project involved dealing with big numbers where mistakes would be magnified.
I learnt alot about excel and the corporate environment.
The Company
Friendly enough, went out every now and then.
From Human Resources front, it was very organised. But very poor organisation from my desk.
Seldom. Many false promises or delays to training or people would invest a little time, but not enough.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
In the right division they would be appealing.
The Culture
Reasonable enough. Out once every 2 weeks or so...I had other friend in London, so this was adequate, but may not be if on your own.
Standard London really.
Quite fun, some of the city bars make for great networking venues.
Charity run and various activities run by Human Resources: Philanthropy, Circus Skills workshop etc.
