  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Loved it!

    • They never once made me feel like I wasnt part of the team or like a student.

    • I could ask for any more

    • I always had work to do and if I didnt then my merchandisers would find me some.

    • I was given a lot of responsability from the very start of my placement

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I was given a lot of training and after speaking to friends at other companies it seam like Debenhams gave students the most amount of training.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • There was always a good frindly atmosphere. When an important meeting was comming up, the atmophere was somtimes tense but this didnt make me feel uncomfortable.

    • Brilliant, i felt it was very organised.

    • My Merchandiser was always avaliable to help and spend time with me, whatever the problem.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • there was, however, i spent more time socialising with my team.

    • I lived at home in Kent. The trains were expensive though.

    • there was a pub that many employees from Debehams would meet in. This was good becasue it aloud me to bond with my team outside work.
