The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. I learned a lot and was motivated at work every day.
My work was relevant and contributed to projects currently being undertaken by different teams. Hence, I felt like a valuable member of the team.
My supervisors were very helpful in providing a 'bigger picture' of each project I undertook. They were very open to explaining concepts and made sure I understood everything.
I was very busy but enjoyed the work.
I was given a high level of responsibility to undertake meaningful projects.
The skills I developed and the knowledge I acquired will be enormously useful to me in my final year of university and in my career thereafter. My technical skills were sharpened and my general knowledge of the industry and products was vastly developed.
The Company
Very friendly and open. I was surprised how friendly it was for such a large bank.
I was extremely impressed by the structure of the programme and the thoughtful exercises I had been set.
The company invests a lot of resources in developing your professional and interpersonal skills.

The Culture
There are many organised events for the interns to get to know each other better. Our group became very close and went out for weekly drinks on a Friday evening. This was a great way to share experiences and learn from others.
