The Role
The internship has been well organised throughout. It has been carefully catered to the individual intern's needs and expertise to quickly become part of the team.
Due to the nature of the internship scheme with only a very small intakes, there were only one intern within one immediate team, hence it easy to see how the rest of the team feel about you personally.
Due to the extremely technical nature of the role, I had received a tremendous amount of help by my team and supervisors in order to deliver successfully.
Generally fairly busy, especially when you become very engaged with a business matter or someone is away from your team.
Normal level of responsibility that can be expected from an internship. I was expected to look after my own project while still managing other tasks.
In general having developed an insight to the financial market, as well as developing the relevant technical skills, has helped building the fundamental to a successful career.
The Company
In general, the corporate culture is fairly reserve. The people are generally approachable and willing to help, regardless of being an intern or a senior manager.
In general, the entire internship program was very well organised. It started off with one week of financial and product training before joining the rotational team in the following week. Throughout the program, there were various organised events to get to know different people from every business areas.
The organisation as a whole has invested a lot of resources to ensure every intern to become successful over the 10 weeks.

Company Parties/Events
From my experience, I can see that the internship has provided an excellent platform to start off the career with the organisation. If given the opportunity to carry on with my current role, the employment prospect with the company is very appealing
The Culture
Yes, both with other interns and recent graduates. There are always organised social events on a weekly basis.
Given that the office is located in central London, it isn't a surprise to find the costs to be higher compared to other places.
Again, considering that the office is in central London, there are always fantastic opportunities around the corner.
Given the nature of work, there are still several organised activities outside of work such as CSR day or charity event.
