The Role
Everyone was kind and welcoming and eager to explain things and clear doubts.
My supervisors were always supportive and available to clear doubts.
I had work given to me most of the time, but I also had a lot of space to reach out and set up meetings with people who work on other areas within the bank. This was very rewarding and better than if I had to do work for the whole time.
I was given work that was expected to be delivered prior to meetings for people to go over it. I was also given research work onto prospects and helped different teams in projects such as creating guidelines for Relationship Directors best practices.
The Company
Not very structured. Was just given work as it appeared by my supervisor and people in my team. Allowed for time to speak and learn from others.
National Travel
Quite appealing. Looks like there is a lot of room for growth within the bank and people seem to be allocated to roles they like and that suit them.
The Culture
Quite low relative to other cities I've been to.
Really exciting. Many options of bars, clubs and restaurants on any night of the week.
I went on runs.
