The Role
Brilliant internship, well-organised, doing challenging but interesting work.
Very welcoming atmosphere with everyone happy to help, talk etc.
Support and guidance was really good. Chris Moore was a great mentor who helped us through the whole process. Lots of good material and info to help with difficult concepts/tasks.
Very busy but that is to be expected in this sort of job. Always lot's of work to do - very rarely an idle moment. Work was interesting and varied so amount of work was fine.
We were more or less doing the day to day job that an equity analyst would be doing (researching stocks, modelling, valuation, meetings etc.) and so I got a good feel of what the grad job would be like. Lots of autonomy which I liked but need to be able to manage own time effectively.
Training and advice really good and will help me a great deal in whatever path my future career takes. Learnt a lot about equity research and there was a very steep learning curve but this all made the internship more valuable and exciting.
The Company
Good atmosphere in office and everyone very friendly but obviously everyone very busy getting on with own work.
Well organised, enjoyed the lunch and learns and other meetings organised. Poor organisation about accommodation beforehand however which wasn't a problem for me but difficult for those who lived much further away from London - would expect better from a large company like Fidelity.
Very good investment in teaching us the key concepts and skills needed for equity research (although of course there is lots more to be learnt). Felt like there was a big emphasis on helping us improve and develop our skills over the course of the internship with good, regular feedback.

The Culture
Decent social scene but equity guys all had lots of work so would not go out for drinks etc on days other than Friday really.
Obviously, London is expensive but that is to be expected.
Charity day was quite good. Not a great deal else otherwise apart from socialising with other interns.
