The Role
The summer internship at Bank of America Merrill Lynch is an amazing opportunity for undergraduates. Interns are given interesting projects and have presentations to deliver at the end of each rotation. The all process is designed so that interns can find the best place for them and can add value to the firm.
The all staff is friendly and everybody is willing to help interns - in terms of knowledge and advice - during the all duration of the internship.
Monthly meetings are organised by line managers and HR. Management is really helping during the process - you can ask them questions whenever you want.
In term of technical level, interns are provided with presentations of products and have the opportunity to build solid understanding of all asset classes in Global Markets. In addition to that, I personally learnt how to approach professionals while they were busy and to ask pertinent and "straight to the point" questions.
