The Role
I have really enjoyed my time whilst at Mace. Everyone is very welcoming and the work is interesting
Everyone I have met have been very welcoming and interested in what I have been doing. They all did everything they could to make sure I had the best possible experience.
The managers want to make sure you have the best possible experience and get everything out of the internship that you want.
Overall, I have been kept busy doing interesting tasks that add value to the project. On occasion there would be less busy periods but they were few and far between.
I was given tasks that had to be done for the project, and therefore added value.
I have gained valuable experience from working within this global company, from communication skills to technical skills all of which I will definitely use throughout my career
The Company
Everyone is busy and has lots of work to do but the atmosphere is friendly and everyone is very happy to help if you need it
Overall the internship is well set up, it takes a few weeks to get in the swing of it and get everything sorted for the project you are working on but that is to be expected.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Future prospects are very appealing and I would definitely come back and work for them again.
The Culture
There is a good social scene with all the placement students, meeting up weekly.
Being based in central London meant it was expensive but definitely worth it
Very good nightlife, with a friendly and safe atmosphere
