Insight Day - Leeds Office Review

Really enjoyed. There are many things to do such as an introduction of accountancy, mock interviews, quiz, talk to the employees and so on. The people in there are so nice and they are really helpful and would like to give us advice about our career. It is also nice to enjoy the free cookies and sandwiches.

Very valued. I knew more information about accountancy from the introduction and became more clear about what I would like to do in the future. It is also helpful to talk with the employees' opinion about the questions that confused me a lot. From the interview section, I knew clearer about it so that I can have a right direction to prepare for it.

The people in BDO are very helpful and nice. When we came there they really have a warm welcome to us and had a good support of where to go and what to do next. They are very patient with us to answer the questions we have and considerable to ask whether we need some water or anything else.

I know more communication skills from the how people talk to each other during the insight day. It is also helpful to gain more information about the process of the interview and the knowledge about the accountancy. Teamwork skill is also improved, because during the insight day we are separated into several small groups to do things, and it is quite fun.

It is a really nice structure. Firstly we gain knowledge from an introduction, which can make us quite confused. And then we can ask employees some questions to make us more clearly. It is good because we were divided into small groups so that it is more focus. Finally, we got the knowledge of interview and practise it.

The place of BDO is located in the centre of Leeds, so it is very convenient to get there. It is a new building so it is very modern and nice. The inside atomsphere is very simple and modern as very. BDO is on the 6th floor so it is nice to see the city of Leeds in such a height. The facility are new to, and it is very clean inside.

It has a very open and welcoming culture in the BDO. The people are very nice and treat as a friend. They are very helpful when we had some questions, they are really willing to answer us. It likes not just a company and work at here, but like a big family, people and people are very nice and it really makes me feel comfortable.

The networking is really nice, we met 5 of the employees in the different department of the BDO and we talked to them separately. They told us why they chose this and the experience. We also asked some questions to them. This is my favourite part because I really knowledge from here.

I just knew employees have more time outside of the work compared with big 4.
