The Role
The work was enjoyable, however, being there for a limited period of time meant that I couldn't get fully involved with the ongoing deals.
My colleagues initally made me very welcome and actively got me involved in what work I could do, but as the internship went on, this was no longer the case.
Management always supported me and answered my questions to the best of their ability.
As mentioned, the short time scale meant that I couldn't be fully involved and so there was little work for me to do.
Little responsibility was given due to the temporary and junior nature of my position.
The training was excellent and will certainly be useful for my future banking career.
The Company
There was a relaxed atmosphere where everyone enjoyed each other's company.
Pre-internship organisation was poor with a lot of changes to the program and limited information. During the internship, this improved.
A lot of training was given for specific products as well as general financial analysis training at the start of the internship.
Company Parties/Events
The organisation is very reputable and I am happy to take up the job offer.
The Culture
A lot of social events were organised for us, as well as interns organising their own independently.
As I was in a regional office, socialising was limited, however, I often travelled into London for the social events.
As above.
Some opportunities were available, but was limited due to the short-term nature of my placement.
