The Role
I have learnt a lot and got a feel for what it would be like if I was a graduate
My work was appreciated and they valued my input
everyone gave detailed guidance and supported me when I needed further clarification
I always had something to do and often had competing deadlines
as much as I could handle. the workload was adjusted according to my availability and capability
not that much, but more the other way around: my studies were very helpful / applicable to my daily work
The Company
a nice buzz and great team spirit
well organised, just that some trainings were not useful in practice (although interesting)
we had very useful sessions and we attended these throughout the internship
very appealing. I enjoyed the work and people I worked with
The Culture
everyone was too busy to be able to find a common time to go for drinks together. but we still socialised in smaller groups
cost of living was high, as it is for socialising. but that's London
apparently great
Yes, JP Morgan run plus IB-wide summer event
