The Role
working as revenue reporting and assurance analyst, about billing process, billed and unbilled revenue assurance
everyone so friendly and supportive, my team in particular, feel like family to me, always help me whenever possible
quite little guidance but some support. my role is new this year so they don't really know exactly what to expect of an intern
quite busy i'd say, my objectives were project based meaning that I spent majority of my time learning and gathering ideas on how to complete my tasks. Would have been better if my team has better idea about my role. overall interesting tasks, learnt a great deal about business area and finance department as a whole.
not enough, I come from finance background, I feel I could do so much more than offered. I had to seek for opportunities most of the times, however that being said, using own initiatives and come out of comfort zone have definitely added value to my experience.
100% going forward with my learnings. they are all useful skills to have in order to be successful at work.
The Company
fun, fun, fun! Centrica provides really supporting atmosphere in the office, people are pretty chill, work hard play hard. very sociable always up for catch up over coffees.
not very well organised at least for my role. my role is new hence there wasn't much going on in my team for interns at all. however, SP program itself is really structured and fun, so many interesting events and training workshops.
highly recommend the company, really values its people. Good training, support, food and amazing office (Windsor).

one of the best employers out there, try get a job here if you can! can't speak highly enough!
The Culture
we all stayed in Royal Holloway University accommodation, hence people are pretty close, I've made really good friends here. and colleagues are very easy to talk to
not as expensive as London, but Windsor is generally on the pricey side. Night out is okay if you are smashed. Travel was a big pain if you don't drive though
really average...
oh yeah! Charity events, networking drinks and so many more! love the network here, you can literally talk to anyone and learn from anyone if you want to! just don't be shy and introduce yourself, get involved in the events/activities.
