The Role
Great fun, like working at a theme park where you get to go on all the rides you want all day, and get paid for it!
My boss legally adopted me.
Excellent support from my manager, both in work and my chaotic personal life. The phrase "character" building sums up the experience perfectly.
I was never bored.
Plenty of responsibility; the day the building flooded I was charged with invoking the disaster recover process.
As a direct result of the skills acquired during this placement I was able to find a job straight out of university.
The Company
Banterific.
Smooth.
Plenty of on the job training.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Offered me a job before placement finished.
The Culture
Plenty of social activities.
Cost of a pint ~£3.
Good, based on the patch memories.
Lots of things going on.
