The Role
Excellent internship that gave me an in depth view of the oil and gas industry
Straight from the start I was welcomed in the team and my input was taken on.
Throughout the internship I was given feedback and told where I could improve.
I had to organize myself to be able to complete the project by the end of my internship.
Good amount for an intern especially when dealing with contractors.
My time at Shell really increased my knowledge of large scale engineering as well as how a large corporate body operates.
The Company
Team was very easy to get along with.
At the start I was given an overview of what work had already been completed and what was left to do to complete the project.
I had the opportunity to attend workshops involving other disciplines than my own as well as learn about the in house health and safety approach.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
I received positive feedback at the end of the placement.
The Culture
An event was organized towards the beginning of the summer to enable all the interns to get to know each other.
Living cost were affordable.
Great.
I had the opportunity to visit other companies and see what services they could provide for Shell.
