The Role
I loved this internship. I had the opportunity to meet people with different background, helpful and interested in what they are doing. The culture at Citi is truly amazing.
I was able to create a connection with my team after just a few weeks
It depends from person to person, but generally also the senior one are available to reply to your questions and solve your doubts
I was able to find a good balance. I was always staffed on 2/3 projects but my staffer was ready to help if I was over or understaffed. It's difficult to be bored during a summer internship: there are times (maybe a couple of hours) in which you have to wait for comments from senior people, you just have to learn how to use that time (learning something new or practicing your new skills)
A lot. And i would have never expected that. After 5/6 weeks I was considered as an analyst and I started to follow project on my own with just the guidance of VP or Director
Skills for like. I learnt much more here than at University.
The Company
Fun. If you don't get a long with your team while you know you have to stay there until late (maybe 3 in the morning), that could truly be a problem. I had the opportunity to create a bond with most of the team, they are keen to know you better, share experiences and advices and help you with everything you may need.
Really good in so much different terms. From the beginning we were in a "safe place". Every person has a buddy of their nationality for every doubts, has a staffer that is supposed to address the work, has a mentor (usually a director) if you need to talk to someone etc
During the first week of our summer internship, we had a full week of training from Monday to Friday. If you get a full time analyst you will have then have more than 5 weeks of training. The training in my opinion was during the job (meaning that every analyst/associate was here to give you work but also teach you something new)

I don't know yet because the full time offer will be at the beginning of September, but I would love to come back
The Culture
Average. I worked in Canary Wharf but I usually had to stay until late and did not get the change to get out during the evening. There a few bars and pubs downside, on friday evening a lot of people go to get drinks there
There a lot of clubs but I was not involved in any particular activities
