The Role
I really enjoyed the 10 week internship, the culture at the bank is really good and the learning is fantastic.
I didn't feel valued in the sense that I was able to contribute much but everyone had time for me to keep learning and improve myself.
The internship has an amazing support network consisting of mentors, advisors and supportive colleagues.
I did not feel like I had enough to do on a day to day basis but when working on the two projects I was set I was very busy. .
I was giving some responsibility.
I learnt a huge amount about finance and have massively developed my skills.
The Company
The atmosphere was very academic but laid back at the same time. Everyone was very friendly and interested.
The internship was really well organised and with lots of projects and lectures beyond your work at your desk.
The firm invested a huge amount of time and effort into the interns, with everyone feeling obliged to help you learn and develop.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Future employment prospects are appealing.
The Culture
There was a large group of interns so the social scene was good if you weren't too tired.
London is very expensive.
The nightlife in London is good and most of the interns live within close proximity of eachother.
There were some activities but not a clear way of getting involved.
