Summer Scheme Intern Review

Really enjoyable scheme as the team allowed me to get stuck in with the projects they were working on. Atmosphere is professional yet fun and the people in the office are enjoyable to be around. I was working within residential development which is a new sector to me, so I enjoyed learning about it.

Again, really got stuck in and felt like I had a relatively high level of responsibility. As such, felt very valued and got on with the team very well.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and talked me through the work I'd done to provide feedback. Furthermore, everyone was really willing to help whenever I had specific questions on the work I was undertaking.

I am going on to take a Masters in Real Estate, and I believe the focus is primarily on commercial and investments. As such, this scheme has not directly aided this particular stage. However, in terms of my future career, the skills I have picked up during my time here will prove invaluable as I was undertaking work common to many areas of Real Estate (such as comparable and valuations).

Incredibly so. There was a perfect mix of departmental overviews/structured lunches and none-structured time with the team. I felt I picked up a lot from the structured elements whilst having enough room to get stuck into my personal department.

Really enjoyable and somewhat relaxed. It was a rather quiet month however everyone was still working hard without being too weighed down.

There was no formal training however there were semi regular appraisals and very valuable departmental overviews.

Very much so. I had the opportunity to speak to people from all areas and career stages and got a fantastic feel for the company, its workings and the responsibilities one has.
