  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The internship was a great opportunity for me to understand more about the Savills business and the ethos of the company

    • From the very first day, my team made me feel very welcome. They were always willing to help or give advice if I was unsure of the task set or if I had any questions

    • The whole team were willing to offer me help if I needed it and were keen to ensure I developed skills during the placement. They were interested in making sure I progressed.

    • There was always work for me to do during the placement. Between a mix of smaller tasks for people in my team and larger projects given to me

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given real responsibility to help prepare pitches for clients, and to undertake research for the firm leading to new business opportunities. I was trusted to complete these tasks to a high standard

    • The placement was a great help in order to put my university studies into the real world, and understand how to develop particular skills in a professional environment.

    • Yes, the interns were sociable

    • High, I spent virtually all of my wages on accommodation, travel and socialising
