The Role
I very much enjoyed my internship; the company values are really positive and I was challenged in the work I was given. I learned a great deal of skills, as well as soft skills and was able to make some long-lasting connections.
I felt extremely valued as I was given impactful work as soon as I started my internship.
I was given a great deal of support and guidance; my manager was fantastic, supportive and approachable, and ensured I was stretched and engaged.
I was busy every day right up until the end of my internship.
I was given a great deal of responsibility and was even given my own project to lead.
I learned invaluable business skills that will help me in the future.
The Company
My team were fanatstic - friendly and full of life. They made the whole experience very enjoyable.
My colleages and support colleagues were very organised; the only trouble I had were IT-related issues.
We were given online training which was for regualatory reasons; the assigned training wasn't the most engaging however there is plenty of specific training available on the intranet that would meet your individual interests.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The future job prospects are great - particularly in Tech. There are a wealth of opportunities and somewhere for everyone to fit in.
The Culture
I didn't get much time to socialise, however the culture at the Bank creates a great environment for fellow students and colleagues to be reflective of these values. People are genuinely sociable on a day-to-day basis.
Canary Wharf is very expensive however we are remunerated very well.
N/A
Yes -there are always events being advertised via email.
