The Role
I loved my placement at Savills; was the perfect mixture of social events with work. Was really well structured and organised.
I felt really valued, I was made to feel the part from the very beginning and quickly immersed myself with the team values.
My mentor, the team and HR all supported me when needed. I never felt like an inconvenience when asking for help.
The workload was manageable, but all the work and responsibility given was substantial - I felt like I was getting involved with the work the team were doing.
Much more than I thought - it was great!
I have learned a lot more in the space of 4 weeks than I have in my first year! It was great to get hands on and learn on the job. My skills such as communication and excel has majorly increased as well.
The Company
Really welcoming, everyone was approachable and made an effort - I wasn't made to feel like I was the new girl.
Really well organised and set up - a huge thanks to the HR team.
I can't imagine going elsewhere - Savills are the best at what they do so I wouldn't want to go elsewhere.
The Culture
Yes, we all had a group chat to keep each other posted and would try to do drinks and lunch together.
Central London is not cheap, I live on the outskirts and travelling in was not cheap!
Yes - Savills run lunch & learns where you get to have lunch with another department to learn about what it is they do. You can get involved with their sports club and the charity they support.
