The Role
Interesting and valuable ten weeks experience at Citi Private Bank, I had a nice insight of the bank and met many different teams. I also had lots of meetings and conferences.
Not all my colleagues had work to give me or things to show me but they were all interested, available and ready to show me their daily tasks.
I met many times with my manager and he gave me valuable advices.
Not 100% busy, depending on the days, but my manager gave me one big project to do and left me some times to discuss with colleagues and other teams.
Concerning my big project and small tasks that dealt directly with the bankers and the clients, I think that I was given enough responsibility.
Meetings, calls, videoconferences were very interesting and I developed my skills and knowledge every days. More over, I had access to a lot of research.
The Company
Incredible atmosphere with my colleagues and superiors, they integrated to the team right away. We managed to have lunch break and afterwork all together on a weekly basis. They were available to help and were always ready to show me interesting things.
A little disorganized at the beginning as I had to get access and no one was there to help me. Moreover, I didn't have a fixed desk during the first weeks. But at the end, everything went smoothly.
A lot, the bank organized many meetings, conferences and calls. I also had events to meet other people. Finally, I had to do a final presentation and this helped me to discuss with different business areas.
