  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The people are really friendly and got to know the other interns very well. Got to work with cutting edge technology which are really popular in industry.

    • Everyone is very helpful and you can ask anyone for help.

    • I was given clear requirements for my project and given the contacts I would need to complete my project.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • The project was quite technical but I was able to complete it well before time and also able to implement some nice to haves.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given root access to a server so guess that says it all. I was the only one working on my project and got to choose any programming languages or tools I would need to finish it.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I really like networking and system design and this internship has taught me a lot about that. I will be studying these modules next year at university and having built my project I feel I've already a lot about it.

    • Got to work on the trade floor which was very lively.

    • Learnt a lot from the the talks about finance. Really interesting talks about the new technology projects they are working on here.
