The Role
very challenging made me feel valued
I felt i was part of the team and not just another one of the 80
Traders often stayed longer to help me with projects
If you werent busy you had to keep yourself busy..
Trade ideas I came up with were used as actual trades
I will use all the skills i learnt in my new job
The Company
very fast paced but not 'fun'
the best organised internship ive ever been on- lots of training and additional meetings
1st 2 weeks were formal training, then i had presentations by traders, together with training on the job
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Im coming back - I rejected another offer to take this one
The Culture
a good mix of work help and party after, encouraged by the firm
a local pub was relatively cheap but clubbing wasnt as in London
good central location close to clubs (one on the other side of the road)
The placement was mostly work oriented but many people were keen to socialise outside of work
