The Role
day to day work was boring but a few very super-exciting assignments
felt like family, but the responsibilities were not too important
lots of advice on the job, but asking lots of questions could have made me sound like a bad candidate..
only busy a few days in the placement, rest was my own reading time, etc..
the big projects i had all the responsibility for, as no one checked my work, the rest I could do myself but the importance of some of the work i did was very small
my work ethic developed a bit, but the benefit is marginal, only my CV improved
The Company
lots of time outside of work and therefore lots of fun
no organisation, everything left for the manager, who was lousy at organising anything..
As a governmental dept they try to cut anything they can. You can speak with anyone, but investment was very very limited..
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
Recruitment is too complicated, if you want to work for them get ready for lots of effort
The Culture
most people were underpaid so not keen to socialise together
quite expensive given our salary
close to the centre, perhaps too close..
Great, lots of activity groups and additional jobs with other teams
