  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • There was a friendly atmosphere within the office. The culture was to help other colleagues and work efficiently as a team. The focus on putting the customer first meant that colleagues were keen to work together to provide the best possible outcome for the customer. Colleagues are sociable and keen to help out or provide advice. Genuinely care about my progress and how I am finding my experience within the internship. However, there was a good atmosphere of hard work and getting the job done to the highest standard possible.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship was well organised. We started with an induction event where we were provided with key contacts and instructions and made to feel at home within the work environment. I was introduced to my team and the business structure and departmental interactions explained. I created a progress plan, this enabled me to set out what I wanted to achieve within my time on the internship and therefore allowed to meet my targets and goals. I completed training and reading before I was provided with work and responsibility which allowed me to feel confident within my role.
