The Role
I had an amazing time at EY. My colleagues are very friendly and supportive. Seniors are very approachable.
I feel that they value and trust me a lot, because I have been given some confidential documents to handle, and I was invited to client meetings. My colleagues also ask how I am getting on with the internship frequently.
All the time. Whenever I have questions or confusion, people are always willing to help me out.
I would say, on average I have been very busy, The last week of August was quiet since people took annual leave.
Quite a lot. I was engaged in things ranging from tax audit to calling the HMRC on behalf of EY.
What I learnt through out the internship helped me understand business better, especially from a tax perspective. I deepened my knowledge in M&A, compliance and technology.
The Company
People occasionally make jokes and the atmosphere is relaxing in general, we always smile when we bump into each other.
It is well organized because we had some industry-specific trainings, partner breakfast session and lunch and learn sessions.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Working from home
The team I worked with is fast-growing so I think the future prospect is great!
The Culture
Interns always go for lunch together.
It is in the centre of London so it is an expensive area. However the food in canteen is subsidized.
It has a lot of pubs around so nightlife is great.
Not that much.
