The Role
The internship was fantastic. It was a perfect combination of responsibility, work and excitement.
Even though I was the youngest Summer Analyst, I felt completely valued by my peers, who respected me and my work, and treated me exceptionally well.
My desk was very good in terms of assigning me work and helping me understand what I was doing. It was a great learning experience.
I was pretty busy on many days, but it never felt overwhelming. I did have to come in a couple of weekends to do worth though.
I was given much more responsibility than I had expected to get. This was fantastic because I felt important to my desk and had another incentive to perform a great job.
I have used what I learned over the summer in personal investing and some school courses also.
The Company
The atmosphere was very good considering it was a serious work place.
HR worked fantastically well to coordinate events, making social events very frequently.
They gave me a personal Bloomberg Terminal and many other resources full-time employees had.
Company Parties/Events
I got an offer from them.
The Culture
Interns would go out every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night together.
London is a very expensive city, but this didn't cut down socializing.
The nightlife was fantastic. I would go out to beers with my desk every week.
There were many good opportunities, specially to do community service.
