The Role
Santander is a really positive and supporting company to work for. My enjoyment stemmed from feeling valued by fellow & senior colleagues.
I felt valued by fellow & senior colleagues at all times which motivated me throughout the internship.
With weekly 1 - to - 1's with my line manager and volunteered feedback from senior managers, I was never short of constructive feedback and praise.
This varied (to be expected), but I would describe the general pace as moderate.
My projects/tasks were clearly set out and support was given where needed. I was expected to keep track of on going tasks and complete them in a timely manner without reminders. Some tasks had higher impact than others so prioritising was key.
Progressed skills in data analysis, excel, coding.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and supportive.
The internship felt very organised from the onset.
Santander had all interns complete mandatory training. The 1-to-1 sessions really helped give direction and goals to the internship.
