  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Was awesome and some great perks working in Xbox

    • Very much so, people felt confident in what i could do.

    • Very very busy, but that was a good thing

    • A lot, I was able to manage my own projects and work on my own marketing plans for games being released

    • I learnt more in the first 3 weeks of my placement than I think i ever have before.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Awesome, it was relaxed, fun but everyone also got down to business when needed.

    • Was a great recruitment process and a great induction. We were well supported throughout the year.

    • I had a lot of induction training at the start of the placement, and then a lot of training on the job specific to my role

    • I would love to come back into Xbox. I have alwarys wanted to work in the gaming industry and i still do.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Lots of other inters mainly in Reading and some in London. Plenty of opotunities to socialise and have a good night out.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Reading is fine costs really, not too expensive at all. You can even get into London on the train in 30 mins.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Was fine really, lots of small clubs and bars. Was fine to have a good night out but nothing special.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Loads of oppotunities with just other interns and other Microsoft employees, for sports and other interests.
