The Role
The work was interesting and varies, but there could have just been a little more to do.
All colleagues seemed very happy to have me there and didn't hesitate to come to me directly concerning work I had done.
Manager was always very willing to answer any and all questions I might have, and even to do a bit of financial education which he felt would be beneficial to me.
The work definitely had pronounced peaks and troughs, but on average the workload was very manageable.
A lot more than I expected. On one particular project, I was left to basically take full responsibility of it, with just occasional reviews from my manager.
Probably quite a bit in my degree as I have chosen a finance module, and definitely beyond if I do end up working in the financial industry.
The Company
Simply excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to give up their time to speak to you. There was a great atmosphere of collaboration and camaraderie.
Again, virtually perfectly. Everything flowed very naturally and all seemed well organised.
Again, a lot more than I expected. Great training in the first week, followed by good training on the job itself.
Company Parties/Events
Really appealing, would not hesitate to work there.
The Culture
Yes very good, we became quite close friends.
Great places, but all quite pricey!
Quite good. Fun places to socialise.
Plenty. From volunteering to sports, opportunities given were plentiful.
