  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was interesting and varies, but there could have just been a little more to do.

  • All colleagues seemed very happy to have me there and didn't hesitate to come to me directly concerning work I had done.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Manager was always very willing to answer any and all questions I might have, and even to do a bit of financial education which he felt would be beneficial to me.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The work definitely had pronounced peaks and troughs, but on average the workload was very manageable.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A lot more than I expected. On one particular project, I was left to basically take full responsibility of it, with just occasional reviews from my manager.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Probably quite a bit in my degree as I have chosen a finance module, and definitely beyond if I do end up working in the financial industry.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Simply excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to give up their time to speak to you. There was a great atmosphere of collaboration and camaraderie.

  • Again, virtually perfectly. Everything flowed very naturally and all seemed well organised.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Again, a lot more than I expected. Great training in the first week, followed by good training on the job itself.

  • Really appealing, would not hesitate to work there.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes very good, we became quite close friends.

  • Great places, but all quite pricey!

  • Quite good. Fun places to socialise.

  • Plenty. From volunteering to sports, opportunities given were plentiful.
