The Role
The work I was given varied on a day to day basis. At times I'd be really busy and other times I'd have some down time. Overall I believe this helped me understand how to manage my work-life balance.
My team welcomed me openly, explained tasks thoroughly and helped me develop my knowledge. They never made me feel like just an intern. I truly felt like I'd been working at EY for ages.
I was always supplied with previous work as a reference point. They were very open and welcoming to questions if ever I got stuck.
The day's varied. There was never a day I was obliged to stay longer than 5pm but often volunteered to simply to finish the day's work and start afresh in the morning
At first I was give admin tasks however by the 2nd week I had access to important documents and was being asked to work through various key audit procedures.
I was able to apply my degree knowledge as well as develop it from the working world's perspective. The skills I learnt are defiantly going to benefit me with the rest of my degree and in my working life in the future.
The Company
there's a good working atmosphere in the office with various breakout areas and study spots. Overall the atmosphere is welcome warm and friendly.
I felt it was very organised.
As it was only an internship we didn't have any day training however we were required to complete work based learning materials which were definitely informative.

Company Parties/Events
Very appealing!
The Culture
We were all proactive however EY definitely aided us by providing us with the initial portal which had all the interns on there, so we could contact each other from even before the induction.
I was able to live at home so only really paid for food and travel however London can be expensive at times.
There was always an event going on with the interns.
We were exposed to EY's various networks on plenty of occasions
