The Role
I really enjoyed my summer internship. The people I worked with were extremely helpful and nice. In addition to this, everyone around all areas was extremely available and I was able to meet them and get to know many different areas within the bank. The events organised for the summer interns by the HR department were great. There were many events during the summer internship where we had a lot of fun and we got the chance to meet really well all the other interns
Everyone appreciated my work and were extremely helpful anytime I needed.
My line manager was really good and he invested a lot of time in me. I learned a lot with him and he gave me all the support and guidance needed during the internship.
During the first weeks I was not very busy but then I was given a project and my days become quite busy but still I was only very busy in 2 week out of 10.
I was given a lot of responsibility since I was given a project that after I got to present to senior managers in the Bank. This project was then used by the senior management team and I had a lot of responsability.
Not very much in terms of studies but a lot in terms of soft careers or my career. I also learned alot about Excel which will help me in the future.
The Company
The atmosphere is really good, everyone is extremely nice and helpful
The HR team is great and everything is very well organised
They invested a lot in us and we had one week of training only. We also had more training sessions during the programme. It was extremely useful since we not only developed technical skills but also soft skills,
Company Parties/Events
It will be a grat company to work for. People are great, the environment is really good and you have mobility opportunities that you donĀ“t have in other places
The Culture
all the interns got really along and very close. Everyone tried to help each other
Quite expensive since it was in Canary Wharf but the salary makes up for that
Really fun, a lot of different places to go
Yes, from sports to volunteering
