The Role
My experience at Arm was fantastic, i would definitely recommend it to any budding Computer Scientists/Software Engineers!
I felt valued by my team, it was a nice environment to be in and they are genuinely very bright!
If i asked for support, i was given it, it was never thrown onto me, i was left to do my own thing which i really enjoyed and gave me a sense of maturity and purpose.
I made myself extremely busy and it was very fun and challenging working on the project at hand.
I was given the task, along with another intern, of developing a plugin from scratch for Unreal Engine that exported a scene into a specific file type. This made me feel responsible for increasing the workflow of our team, and it spurred me on to work harder.
I already had acquired programming skills and debugging skills from previous work, however the most invaluable skill that i picked up and developed over my time here was managing a big task in a team.
The Company
It was really good fun, without detracting from work.
Arm definitely have great experience with handling Interns as it showed with the way things were setup. Very well organised by the Talent Acquisition team.
I feel like everyone is truly treated equally in this company, and that this shouldn't make me feel more or less invested in than the next person. The company do care about each and every one of us, so i would feel bad giving this category a 10 star as it might carry implications that i feel i was invested in more.

Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The idea of returning to Arm is extremely appealing to me!
The Culture
The social scene was incredibly good here, everyone in Arm are just normal people doing extraordinary things. Really friendly people and i have grown to admire a lot of the people i've met here. Definitely will seek to be keeping in contact with them.
My parents live in Cambridge, so it was very easy for me financially.
I have lived in Cambridge my whole life, so as far as nightlife goes: it isn't great here, but i find it amazing as i always bump into old friends and catch up with them! So i do thoroughly enjoy it, but couldn't recommend it to others.
There were a few things on along the way.
