The Role
Enjoyed working here temporarily to learn more about what kind of environment I would thrive in for a long term career, Good people, nice offices.
very respectful colleagues. Flat structure. everyone was patient and approachable.
Support and guidance varied in departments and from one team leader to another. Sales is generally more independent whereas analytics is structured. Supervisors efforts varied based on how much they liked individual.
Progressively more busy throughout the internship, were given more projects and seeked out projects independently.
company is not scared for new interns to make mistakes...happy for us to interact with clients from the very first day. Did however prepare us for each conversation before.
none whatsoever for degree studies. however soft skills are developed such as sales/presentation/communication skills.
The Company
busy, energetic.
very well organised. HR did a fantastic job!
Offered a basic financial training for a couple of days at the beginning of the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Impression that it is slower now to progress out of analytics into sales than pre financial crisis. Efforts are made to promote employees to advanced specialists with analytics.
The Culture
cost of living is very expensive. socialising is fantastic, plenty of things going on in London every evening and weekend
FANTASTIC
bob events (charity volunteering) is encouraged at the company. Can take days out to volunteer with colleagues.
