The Role
The Insight Day provided a wonderful insight into the company and the world of business.
The employees helping on the day made you feel like part of a team.
They encouraged everyone to get involved in the respective teams, without giving too much guidance.
The day was packed full of activities and was extremely useful. There was never a moment when you were sitting doing nothing.
There's only so much they can give you to do on an Insight Day. However, the work they did give you was engaging and interesting.
I would say the day helped me to develop my business skills, and most importantly my communication skills with many tasks involving presentation.
The Company
The atmosphere was lively and fun! It is also important to note that they took the day seriously as well.
For the majority of the day it ran very smoothly and the tasks led well from on to another.
They started off by taking an interest in everyone's kills individually and then working towards team-building exercises which I think worked very well.
The company appeal is much higher than it was before!
The Culture
The day allowed you to get to know others who are looking to pursue a career in similar areas to yourself. It was a really good social scene with networking taking place.
This was mainly irrelevant for the Insight Day. They provided food and drink throughout the day.
Once again, the Insight Day was a one off day.
Ernst & Young encourage their staff to get involved in community activities which is a reason I would love to work for the company.
