The Role
It was very interesting and interactive
We got on really well - everybody was friendly and welcoming, and we have remained in contact.
The supervisors were always on hand to help out, but I still felt that I had the independence that I needed to make the most of the experience.
It is a very intensive three days, where you get very little time to yourself, but it is also so packed that the time flies and I was never bored.
The timetable was very full but it was the individuals responsibility to make sure you were where you needed to be at the right time.
The skills and training I received were brilliant, and will be incredibly helpful in the rest of my career.
The Company
The people were fantastic and created a very interesting, relaxed atmosphere
The timetable was full and every moment was accounted for.
I really felt that the company valued all of us and was very keen to help us improve ourselves, without there being any expectation about necessarily joining the company afterwards.
Company Parties/Events
This is a Fast Track scheme, so anybody who takes part is automatically through to the final round of applications of whatever they choose to apply for next within the company. Although I still have some time left at Uni, some of the people who did the Academy with me had graduate job offers within a few months.
The Culture
The evenings were a lot of fun - there was an open bar every night and we were encouraged to relax and unwin and really get to know one another.
The company paid for everything, from travel and accomodation, to food and alcohol!
Ever night there was something planned to help us get to know everybody in a fun and informal setting.
The three days were so packed that there wasn't really any time to do anything else.
